I got mine done for $300... but I know someone who got it cheaply done in another country for $50. But mine was done with top of the line chemicals and all, and lasted for about a year. Only thing is it will make your hair less dense.

Well, it really depends on whether you are black or white. because I believe the methods for chemical straightening differ for both. it also depends on your location; it costs more in New-York than in Maryland generally speaking. If you have whoolly hair like mine, then you can bet that unless the hairdresser is your friend, sister or someone of that nature, you will not spend less than 50 dollars and that is a very conservative estimate. On the other hand if you know how to do it yourself at home (which I wouldn't recommend if its your first or even third time), you can get it done for free (duh..., unless you want to charge/bill yourself) minus the cost of the chemicals that you will use to straighten it and also minus the cost of a wig when you botch the job.

It'll probably depend on where you go. Most salons will probably charge more than $100. If you don't want to spend a lot you could go to a cosmetology school and get it done. I got mine done at the one I go to now and it only cost about $50 and my hair was extremely, extremely curly, and they did an awesome job!

Well for a full straightening, and styling, it costs anywhere from $60-70 maybe at a salon. But you can buy it in a box and do it yourself for around 10 bucks though. I do mine myself all the time.
