do you know how mike tyson's "head movement" was done so quickly?

does the movement come from the hips neck knees or what

Primarily the neck. Tyson has thick strong neck that head movement came naturally to him. Also, you must have strong lower back muscles for bobbing and weaving. Floyd Patterson, another d'Amato protege and peek-a-boo praticioner, had a bad back when he fought Clay/Ali so he couldn't do much bobbing and weaving.

you were right it comes from all of the following. primarily his hips his key was to get low. tyson did a lot of sit ups daily that allowed him to build up a ton of stomach muscles and hip muscles which he mostly weaved side to side. he very rarely moved his neck. but you can tell when he got hit that his neck was strong also because his neck very seldom snapped back
