At 100 mph, chances of survival would be extremely remote, even with seatbelts and an air bag.
Without seatbelts, an airbag would be usless at that speed. A person not held in the seat by belts would continue forward over the air bag and into the windshield. Assuming by that time the windshield had broken, the person would continue forward and be ejected. Most likely, they would contact the concrete structure. The final result would be difficult to identify.

Ok after 10+ years the air bag might fail too. Don't trust supplemental Air Restraint systems Always use seat belts. And at that velosity into a solid barrier call the funeral home not the ambalance. Weight X Velosity Plus fragile Human chest ribs and internal organs cannot stop bounce backward with out very serious injurys. Neck will not survive such an impact SEE Dale Earnheart. At that speed, hitting a solid concrete wall, the driver has no chance, seatbelt or no seatbelt. A persons insides are rurned to mush. Also the cars engine would be in the rear seat, the car being about 1/3 as long.

The chances of the driver surviving would be very slim. Despite the airbags inflating it's not always enough to save a persons life if they're not wearing a seatbelt. Even if the person did survive they would probably be in a permanent vegitative state.

Dead as a doornail. you are describing a massive crash. the car will be probably 1/2 its length and the engine is going to be in the front seat. airbags will only save you to about 35-40 mph perpendicular barrier equivalent. crash energy increases as the SQUARE of the speed. hence there is 4 times as much energy in a 100 mph crash versus a 50 mph crash.

Airbags only work if the seat belt is in place, otherwise the body will smack into the inflating airbag then submarine. He's likely dead.

He'd be dead meat. Sorry, but even airbags wouldn't save him! Even with a seat belt, he's be is a bad, bad way - probably you'd have to scrape him up with a spatula and/or mop.

Very few people would walk away from that. At that speed air bags would not matter.
