You are right; God does not care about our past. We shouldn't either.

When we repent and ask Jesus to be our Lord our past is covered but not erased. We still will be required to face the consequences of past actions. God does not want us to beat ourselves up over our past but He does expect us to learn from it. Also, many times we find it gives us a link to others in that we are able to fully understand what they are going through and offer real assistance, not just empty words.

Well, the worst thing in my past is from 20 years ago-I hid my High School report card. But I once visited an Assembly of God church and heard some wild stories from people who had a past. I was shocked, I can tell you.

the present will be our past later
any way
you said go forward don't wary about your sins in the past
but you need to repent and take advice about it to not return
so you need God to do that in your Church .
remember if you try to forget your past God will remember it
but if you remember it God will forgive.

I'm not sure what you are referring to but when you become a born again Christian all of your past sins are forgiven and forgotten by God.

God DOES care about your past. you have to ask him to forgive you. No matter what you did, he will forgive you. He wants you to have an almost similar attitude towards forgiveness, once saying in a bible verse that i dont remember to forgive your neighbors 70 times 7. if i could forgive someone that many times, i wouldnt have a problem forgiving myself at least once.
