G-d does not change. G-d does not lie. So why Christian brothers do you look on the Jews with such disdain?

G-d will surely raise them up again like he always has. They will be unblinded, and accept Jesus... to much celebration in the heavens.

Dances with unicorns - Are you unfamiliar with G-d's promise of a savior? Is there someone perhaps that might better fit the description of the Messiah from the old testament? Maybe I should ask if YOU belive G-ds words.

Skippy - chosen to G-d... means those who please G-d the most.

Chosen to someone "of the world" like you, means "Spoiled" ; that they wouldnt have to worry about money, problems, etc. and have a merry old fools life.

G-d is an old traditional jewish way of writing his name.

I adopted it simply because I am more comfortable giving a little more respect.

I sure would hope it wouldnt offend you as it seems to some others.

We should never forget our roots. We should never forget that Jesus was a Jew (who attended synagogue), as were his mother and adoptive father, all the apostles and even the first pope (Peter). Almost all of the first "believers" were Jews, and they all attended synagogue as well. While it is true that some Jews called for His execution (particularly those threatened by Jesus as a potential leader who threatened their hold on power) , the Catechism reminds us that every human who has ever lived bears responsibility for his crucifixion. We are all responsible.

As Christians, we believe that, in rejecting Jesus, most of the Jews rejected their own Messiah, as prophecy foretold (Isaiah 53:3-4, Hosea 11:4). As the apostle Paul points out in Romans 11, this is part of a mystery, wherein God used their lack of faith-response in order to bring the Gentiles (non-Jews) into His family. While there continue to be Jews who come to accept Jesus as the Jewish Messiah throughout history, we prayerfully hope for the day when the Jews will most fully come to accept Jesus and be "grafted back into the tree" (which St. Paul also writes about in Romans 11).

What the previous testomony says is that the Jews are God's chosen human beings through fact God needed to apply them to bare the fact of the arriving salvation of the international with the aid of Jesus. some Jews desire to interpret those scriptures as asserting they are God's chosen human beings through fact He loves them and hates each physique else, inspite of the fact that it takes some particularly selective analyzing to get that out of it. What the hot testomony says is that all and sundry who follows Jesus is definitely one of God's chosen human beings, inspite of who they are or the place they arrive from, what language they communicate, or the different reason. So, considering that maximum Jews surely reject the instructions of Jesus, they are, in fact, no longer God's human beings in any respect. in accordance to the words of the previous Covenant, in the event that they nonetheless carry on with it, they are in a position to have a good existence right here on earth, yet they are no longer promised any area of eternity in Heaven with God except they flow with the aid of Jesus.

The Jews are God's chosen people. That's why His Son Jesus was born of Jewish parents. In the last days, they will be in one accord with Christians and it will be a beautiful time.

Do you know what being "God's Chosen People" means for the Jews? It doesn't mean we are somehow better than anyone else, like people think.

It means we were chosen for a TASK, for a specific job on this planet. And repeatedly slaughtered for it, too, actually.

For what WE define as our being "chosen" (and nobody else really has the right to define what that means, except us, since it's about us) go here and read:

k...first of all, who wrote the old testament? The Jews. Its old time propaganda, we are the chosen people and all of you are screwed since you aren't a jew. Its like how the US says we are the greatest nation in the world. Every one believes us because they are too scared to take us to war. The Jews were conquered over and over again, its only natural they would want some karma for the actions done against them.

Our perception of God is way off. If you read the bible all the way through, God changes alot, God once you think about it had commited most of the 7 deadly sins: wrath (kills alot of people) , envy (can't worship any god but him) , pride (says he's all powerful and flaunts it. ) , greed (all things are mine, including your soul), Sloth (rests on the 7th day, but he doesn't need to rest since he is all powerful)
The only sins he really doesn't commit are Gluttony and Lust.

So, as I said, Our perception of god is wrong. Some Christian groups believe that if you believe in the savior then you are saved automatically, and since jews don't believe in Jesus, then the go to hell. Thats why.

Religion is very opinionated, and confusing once you question the very basics of your religion.
In my opinion, if you want to commune with the almighty, go out and enjoy nature, find some secluded place in the woods and just enjoy what god has given us. The very creation is something to celebrate every single day. Love life, commune with nature, and the answers will come. God dosen't speak in church, people speak in church.

edit: amecake83, jews didnt kill jeusus, i think the italians did, and tryed to blame it on the jews...

re-edit: to "gods child" i hate how so many christians think that "oh well some day they will com eto their senses about jesus" jesus has no part in the jewish religion. its jsut not part of it. he did not fullfill ANY of the phrophecies that were stated in the old testament. and the 'messiah' isnt supposed to even be god's son. its soposed to be a direct decent from king david.

edit to dances_with_unicorns

The Romans sentenced Jesus to death, because the Jews were determined to get rid of him somehow but didn't want to kill him themselves. The Jews returned Jesus to the Romans urging Romans to do something with him - preferably death. The Romans wouldn't do it at first, they saw no threat by Jesus, but the Jews insisted. There you go.

Question to John W:
Why do you have God as G-d? Is this some politically correct way, now, is this shame?

They are His chosen people. And He has a place set aside for them. They will not be allowed to enter the gates of Heaven.

I would believe G-d when he said that. Did He say it, or did Moses?

I'm not too sure about believing Moses. Moses seemed to have an agenda about skiving off with the working class of Egypt.

Are you suggesting that christians hate the jews out of jealousy? Interesting idea.
