How would we write a recount of the Lord's Supper. (Mark 14:22-26; Matthew 26:26-30; Corinthians 11:17-34). We must use these three passages only.

After the Passover celebration was done and Judas was excused, Jesus began a new "celebration" and a new covenant. He took the wine and after prayer told them to eat. This "means" my body. Then a cup of wine. This "means" my blood. "Keep doing this in rememberance of me." This is the only date Christians were ordered to observe in the Bible.

Jesus arrival and sacrifice was the fulfillment of the old covenant under the Mosaic Law. No more were animal sacrifices needed as Jesus fulfilled being the "Lamb of God".
The entire purpose of that old one was the Messiah's sacrifice.

This new covenant was for a heavenly hope of sharing in Jesus' death and resurrection to heavenly life. Prior to that, faithful men and women of God had only an earthly hope of resurrection.
