I'm getting married about 65 miles from where I'm spending my wedding night...I want to wear the dress the whole day, but no one is available to pick up the dress to store it while my future husband and I are on our honeymoon. We're going to the airport in the morning to leave for a crosscountry flight. Is there a good way to store my dress while I'm on my honeymoon? What are my options?

Have you checked with local dry cleaners in the area where you'll be spending your wedding night? It's very possible that they could pick this up from the hotel, and have it cleaned and boxed while you're gone.

I would change before I left to go where I was staying and send my dress home with a trusted person. If you plan on having it cleaned and boxed, I would prepay this and have the friend drop it off.

Before you leave for your hotel give it to someone responsible to have it dry cleaned for you while your on your honeymoon. Most brides including myself will take off their dress before getting into their "get away car". I will have a suit picked out to leave in. Plus you wont have to worry about bringing it to your hotel to get damaged and it will be in safe hands.

as a newly wed, im guessing ur gonna want the best possible care for ur dress(and i can save u hassling ur friends)..hang ur dress in the hotel, pack ur bags and leave ur dress. 5 minutes after checking out, phone them, tell them u have left a dress and u will pick it up later. i swear, itll be in perfect condition when u pick it up. no hotellier will risk any damage coming to that dress...ps, ive never done this..im not a woman and im not married....but i did it with a suit...accidental, i really forgot it ...but they looked after it like it was a new born baby(without the breast feeding)

Put it in a box and mail it to your mom on your way out of town. You are going to need to get it cleaned anyways if you plan on keeping it, so there is no need to worry about wrinkles.
