Global warming or domestic violence? Which one will kill us first?

domestic violence! the earth has been going through it's cycles since the beginning of time and it has a way of cleansing itself but domestic violence happens more and more often and seems to be getting more violent.

You have a higher chance at dying due to domestic violence than you do with global warming.

Global warming is killing 150,000 people a year according to the World Health Organisation, the figure is expected to double by 2030 http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/content/article/2005/11/16/AR2005111602197.html
According the the US Bureau of Justice there were 1544 homicides caused by spouses, ex-spouses, boyfriends, and girlfriends in 2004 http://www.ojp.usdoj.gov/bjs/homicide/intimates.htm
If this figure were represented globally there would be about 34,000 domestic violence fatalities each year, about a quarter of the number of people dying from global warming.
Whilst the number of domestic violence vicims is falling, the number of global warming victims is rising.

Domestic violence is preventable if the victim has the courage to stand up against it but global warming is not one person's effort but needs the time and effort of every policy maker and person in this world so my vote is for Global warming..... which does not seem to have any stopping point now.....

There are already thousands of victims of domestic violence every year.
There's not one documented conclusively provable death due to global warming yet (and may never be one)

For me, it will be Global Warming. There's no way I would put up with domestic violence....

Probability suggests domestic violence would get you first. US crime statistics are not Representative of world trends on this issue.
