i have had a really bad headache for the past 2 days and i've been taking tylenol but it hasnt been helping much. i think its a sinus headache cause its like behind my eyes/in the middle of my forehead. what would be the best medicine to take for that? we only have tylenol and ibuprofen. should i continue taking tylenol? try ibuprofen? or go out and buy something else/what should i buy?

You can try exedirene (I know my spelling is WAY off), but it has caffeine so dont take it before bed. Have you tried drinking a gatorade? Try the ibuprofen too, and you may want to go up to 800mg for your first time, thats what my doctors had me do

I like ibuprofen for headaches, but I'm allergic to tylenol. You can also take sudafed becuase its specifically for sinus headaches, but it's made with the same drug as tylenol so if that's not working try the ibuprofen or other over the counter sinus medication.

If you have a headache, and you think it is sinus related:
A) Go to the doctor, it might be a Sinus infection, Ive had 6 in 2 years..
B)Then go to the store and get Tylenol Sinus... It works great for Sinus headaches!

I suffer from extreme migraines. If I feel one coming on early, I take about 3 ibuprofen and a can of Pepsi. Something to do with the caffeine. But, if I still have it a day later I take Excedrin Migraine. It wipes it out pretty good. I have actually had my worst migraine for 8 days and ended up going to the emergency room to get a shot to finally get rid of it.

Tylenol Extra Strength but you should go see a doctor if you have had a headache for two days.

It sounds like a tension headache, but it could be your sinuses. My husband swears by Excedrin, and I prefer aspirin. If you go to a drug store,(especially WalMart) you can buy their generic brand and save a lot of $$. Good luck. :) If this headache doesn't go away in a couple days, see a doctor.

any type of sinus medication will work better than tylenol or ibuprophen,invest in some to get rid of sinus headaches.

I get migraines and the only thing that works is the over the counter Target brand Migraine Relief coated caplets.
That will knock it out and not make you sleepy either.
Get to feelin better soon!! I hate headaches...

I found when having headaches that panadol and asprin work best! Usually you only need to take around two panadols and your headache will clear up. You might need to take some more later though, until the headache is all gone! :)
