aww =( i feel bad for you. I know how you feel. Heres a good way to get your way with either getting or keeping your pets. tell your mom that you would do absoulty EVERYTHING to get the kitty. (ex. feed, clean, take care of it) But, don't just say it. Prove it! Help out with the kitty, and with moving. (and im sure there is ALOT to help with) Then, show your mother how much you care for your kitty and play with it alot. Be really loving to your kitty and everyone around you, and I'm sure youll be able to keep your cat <3 =]

Take her with you. You don't say why your mother said you can't take her. you will need to get her trained to know her new place as her home again. So if you do let your cat go outside you will need to train her to come back. start by feeding her outside and then bringing her back in. then feed her and let her stay oiutside with you for a while. then keep extending the time and then she will eventually learn that is her new home. cats always stay where they are fed.

don't get rid of her!! unless you find the owner yourself, you'll have no idea where she'll end up. do everything you can to convince your mom that bringing the cat is the right idea. if it's an issue of money--work for your mom. say you'll clean or weed or babysit for her to so you can pay for the cat food and litter and such. tell her how much the cat means to you. make a list of the things you're willing to do if your mom will let you keep the cat. when i wanted a bunny really bad i did this and it worked!
good luck,
beka

I don't understand why your mom wont let you take the cat? I would ask her very nicely and calmly and explain all the reasons why your cat needs to come with you.
- part of the family
- break your heart
- promise to take care of her
do you have a job? can you also promise to pay for vets/food etc?
I feel for you!

You did not say why you can't take her. If you really really can't take her then ask a friend to take her, someone you know that you will visit from time to time. That way you can still see her sometimes.

take her with you. Where are you moving from? refer your mother to an animal psychologist, and a people/childrens psychologist, they will tell her what kind of social stress it puts on you and the cat.
