I am responsible for all these things

I think this is part of the Buddist Philosophy. Or a path to enlightenment.

Dave, it sounds very logical and it is neither religious or ridiculous. God's love and direction is to be all these things, not on your own, but through him and his guidance so that you do not hurt or offend anyone. By that I mean that your influence should not be obtained by running over anyone individually or as a people!

Per the rules of logical thinking, one falls under the concept of contradictions in thinking. For instance, "I am much more than I think I am" is a contradictory statement. If you think you are much more than you think you are, then you've contradicted your own thoughts.
As for the language itself, responsible and influence are not synonymous.

To me it does not sound either ridiculous nor religious.
I believe most of what you said and it does apply to my life as well. I just don't see it as a religion FOR ME.
Whatever works for you is good..this sounds better than some crap I have seen on here.

I am not Buddhist, however I am fascinated with its philosophies, which I see as a balance of logic and spirituality. I agree.

It sounds similar to many eastern philosophical stances. Also very similar to sections of John Lennon`s "I am the Walrus".

It also sounds like Christian Science and Scientology. It isn't biblical and I personally don't agree with it. Sorry, but you asked.

Sounds rather logical to me, but then I'm Buddhist, so I'm biased I guess.
