for 2 week's. I won't get to talk to him that much in the 2 weeks he's gone. Has anyone else had this happen? If so how did you deal with it. I'm use to seeing my boyfriend and being with him every day. These next 2 week's are going to kill me

Two weeks. Come on. There are people who love each other that are separated by military service that are apart for 2 years. You'll sleep maybe 8 hours a night, that's 112 hours, which only leaves 224 hours, if you take a half an hour to eat at each meal that's another 21 hours, bathroom time is probably an hour a day, which is another 14, making the total now 189, take three hours a day talking to your other friends, that's 21 hours, we're down to 168 hours, normal daily activities you'd normally spend without him would be 2 hours a day, another 28, we're down to 140 hours, and that only amounts to less than seven days, which is less than one week, which is nothing. He's going home, be happy for him and make his return a delightful one. You don't want him breaking up with you because he thinks you don't want him to go home, do you?

You will make it two weeks, no problem. It is only 14 days and you can email each other several times daily and talk about what is happening.

Just remember if the roles were reversed, you would like to be going home to see your family.

As far as the two weeks alone, help! Don't try to be a drama queen.

It won't be that hard. I mean yes it is kind of hard to be apart from your boyfriend, but trust me you won't die. My boyfriend lives 1,000 miles away. I've only been physically with him for 9 days. Not much. Sometimes we don't even get to talk for days at a time. It's very hard but you can make it. Just relax and have fun with your friends. You don't need him by your side all the time to be happy and have fun, and if you do then it's time to rethink your relationship because that's not healthy.

my bf and I have been together for 4 years, every year I leave him for a month to visit my family in Germany. he doesn't like the idea of me leaving him but hey, i need to see my family too you know. but while i'm gone, i'd give him a call and he'd give me a call. he usually does his routine and go out surfing on the weekend or hangs out with his buddies. so i think you should do the same, trust me ... 2 weeks is not a long time. oh! and enjoy your birthday!! =)
