I'm not fat but I'm not skinny so i just want to lose about 10 or 20 pounds. I don't want to be anorexic or bulimic. So, got any ideas?

find daily calorie intake calculator on the net, enter all your stats and it will tell you how many calories you need a day to maintain, take off 300-400cal off that number and thats how much you need to lose.
eat 5-6 small meals a day (eat every 2-3 hours - it optimizes your metabolism)
5-8 servings of fruit and veggies a day
8 glasses of water
have complex carbs for breakfast - they give you energy
have protein (lean meat, legumes etc) for dinner - repairs muscle
cardio exercise 4-6 times a week for 30-50min (ideally 45min because the first 20-30min body burns carbs and only then starts burning fat), light weight training (more muscle=faster metabolism)
dont consume foods that are made of white flour (white bread, cakes, pasta etc.), sugar loaded foods (cookies, icecream, candy etc) and nothing fried, oily.
ofcourse you can spoil yourself once in a while with a little treat:)

Want the slap in the face answer... Eat less and more healthy, and move your body more. Sound simple yes. This is just a concept people cannot grasp. You don't need a diet,, you know what to eat think about it... got it? Now move your body more, go for a walk a run and skip a bike ride, Rollerblade... roller skate?... whatever just move. Get your heart rate up a little not to much just more than sitting in front of the TV.

this is gonna sound sound so freaking repetitive because I know that you've already heard this somewhere. (but it's true!) Anyway, you have to eat healthy and work-out. Watch how many calories you consume and eat your fruits and veggies :)

oh and don't forget your ocassional meat to get you necessary proteins!!

This is the onlt thing people need to know about being a good healthy person!

Eat food. Not too much. Mostly plants.

anyone who wants to lose 20 pounds
and states that they aren't fat must be delusional .
have you ever seen 20 pounds of fat , it's huge and gross.
I'd like to lose 20 pounds of fat and I know that I'm over weight..... I'm just waiting for the fat fairy to show up one night and grant my wish.
