Christians are limited in what they can do or say in Polictics, Education and on moral issues. We are told, separation of Church and State. But yet the Constitution does not say separation of church and state. It only limits the government on this issue. But if think about it, (ie. Evolution is a type of religion (faith in science)) nothing would be taught, you would not have a policital system, you wouldn't even have the right to choose what morals you want to follow. It all revolves around faith. Faith in what, God Almighty, self, science or what

You need to do some serious research on how the atheist movement ( a form of religion) has insidiously corrupted the US.
since 1972.
Even the first answerer backhandedly admits it is a religion.
By saying it is a type of faith, in scientific theory. They refuse to admit this is true.
Yet any belief in a theory, is a type of faith.
And as it stands, virtually every NGC (National Geographic Channel) show can not be broadcast without the phrase (or any variation of), evolution provided the design, to explain the vast wonders of the wide variety of life here on earth.
Everywhere, it is widely acceptable to drone on and on about the "theories" of life's origins, but dam bed you be if you suggest a creator. The atheists have conquered the P.S. system, and the science community. Yet they still have ZERO answers of the hows and whys of the standard humans characteristics.
Why do we feel love? Hate? Sad? Depressed? These thing have nothing to do with the survival of the species.
And why do some of us rape? murder? rob? lie?
Again, none of these things help the species.
And then when we consider that there are over 2000 distinct languages spoken by humans (Gen. 11:8) the atheists are totally silent with their explanation.
Atheists are perhaps the most misdirected and brainwashed gimps on the modern era. Standing directly behind those who have chosen the profession of soldier, whereas at least soldiers will die for their beliefs, whilst atheists feel right at home letting others die for their freedom to lie about creation.

BTW? Atheists? I count on your thumbs down! It continues to support my assessment of your corrupt ways of thought.

independant_00? nothing but a troll? REALLY?
you are nothing but the typical of atheist responders.
When challenged with an opposing view-atheists (visa-vi, their god Richard Dawkins) respond with denigration and name calling. Yet I thank you so much for continuing to prove that atheists are the worst oppressors since Adolph Hitler.

Of BTW "independant", your, in the possesive is you're.

I don't think anyone is saying that christians have to stay out of politics or education, nor do I think that you are limited in what you can do or say any more than anyone is. After all, you have the same right to speak up, vote and attend PTA/school board meetings as anyone else. What people ARE saying is that CHRISTIANITY should not meddle in politics or education, and I could not agree more. This country was founded by people who saw the dangers in mixing religion and government, not just to proper governing, but to religion also, which is why they wrote the non-establishment clause into the constitution. The US constitution was written to protect not just the majority, but the minorities as well, and has worked fairly well thus far. I say don't mess with it.

What the constitution says and what the tax code says are two different things.

If you don't want to pay taxes including back taxes then don't get involved in politics. Atheist don't have a church they set up as a non profit organization.

We are not of this kingdom but a heavenly one. Sure we can vote and call our congressmen and petition the government like everyone else but in order to protect your tax exempt status you may not use church funds or the pulpit to endorse a candidate or an issue.

Actually its a good thing. This is how the U.S. could establish a state religion. We know they listen to those who have the deepest pockets. I really wouldn't want to be forced to be Catholic or Protestant or Islamic.

I can strongly state that whatever you heard somehow got mucked up along the way, and things like that happen a lot. Christians have actually a pretty strong hand in political issues. My college teacher even once said that he thinks a third great awakening is about to happen because of this high level of christian activity in the American country.

Our faith rests in God and his message. His teachings also tend to have a Republican side (pro life, yada-yada). Of corse you can always find christians who side with democratic standpoints of the bible as well. Practically all of the USA presidents had a christian background, if that means anything to you.

Hope that helps.

Christians do need to stay out of governmental agencies. Public schools are one example of those. Also science and religion are two totally different things. Science is basically the study and understanding of the physical and natural world. Religion is the belief in and worship of a supreme being. People may have faith in science or other earthly things, but it is a different kind of faith.

You are in the world, not of it. Christians need to stay in church and let the church stay in them. Instead, there are many who stay in the church, but the church is never in them. Yet, they want to tell the rest of the world how to live.

When they master their religions, faiths, and lives, then they should join the rest of the world, until then, all they can do is to corrupt the rest of the world with views that, according to Jesus, the Christ of Christians, they are making rules that even they themselves can not abide nor live by.

Who said Christians have to stay out of everything? That's news to me.
No one limits Christians on what they can say about moral issues or about education. Christians often have a lot to say about politics.
Some are annoyingly outspoken.

We all have the right to choose morals and beliefs.
I don't get where you got the idea that Christians have to stay out of everything.

regrettably some Christians, as with those of different 'religions,' have already sunk into this abyss. look into the atrocities committed with the aid of particular factions interior the call of their faith, although I won't point out any with the aid of call. with or without their particular God, those human beings would and could proceed as they are doing. you have posed an particularly thrilling question right here through fact no one will certainly now the respond, all we are able to do is provide our opinion. I actually have a buddy who's deeply non secular and believes that God controls all it relatively is occurring in this strife-torn international, that it relatively is His answer to guy's glaring destruction of this earth. That issues will certainly get a tactics worse earlier they get greater useful. I asked her what she concept with regard to the worries in Iraq, Kenya, etc., and he or she pronounced it rather is God's will, it rather is written interior the Bible. So, interior the opinion of individuals as deeply rooted in faith as she is, it relatively is God's plan, the only thank you to guy's salvation. i'm no longer a deeply non secular individual myself, and that i do question what's happening, yet I additionally be responsive to that she is appropriate approximately issues getting worse earlier they'll develop. human beings in places like Kenya, Tibet, etc., could question no count if or no longer God does surely exist, and various would think of that if he does he ought to do greater for them. i'm hoping that i've got no longer dragged on too long right here, yet this has been quite a complicated question.

The government is ran buy a certain people, call them the puppet masters and Bush the puppet, these are the four dynasties that i talked about earlier, they want them seperate as being the seperate truth this is why you have so much difference of opinion because usually a person will decide from the four that which determines their over all beleif,...... if you merge them all together then you would find the truth and they wouldn't want that.

By this argument, you would have not only christianity but all of the other millions of religions that are represented in America involved as well. That's just bad business and confusing. I say we keep ALL religion in church (or wherever it is that you worship) where it belongs.

You are dealing with two governing powers, the United States and Gods celestial rule.

The Divine rule can not mix with the carnal rule, it would subject Gods authority to misinterpretation and misapplication as we see in such actions as suicide bombers and so called religious wars, that angry men declare on other human beings.
