Not sure it really looks like that to us Jews. They didn't steal it - we still have it! They've done some rather strange things with it, translating it in somewhat odd ways and picking on bits to take out of context but - well, that's their problem. Anyone spreading hate is a problem, and Jews have received a goodly chunk of hate, some of it by Christians (using their religion), some by Muslims (using their religion), some by fascists and Nazis, some by people who may be Christian or Muslim or agnostic (even) but not using their particular religious beliefs to attack. Some Christians seem to hate an awful lot of people - just about anyone who doesn't follow their own particular version of Christianity - but the fact that they try to justify their hatred by reference to quotations from the Tanach (the Jewish Bible) is really just laughable!

Wellll...during the times just before and just after Jesus, they used it to spread hate, being that they were anti semitic. Right now however, in modern times, Christians respect Jews and we (or at least those of us who have rights to speak for the rest of us...) respect them. They no longer use it to spread hate, so there's no reason to mope or be mad about it.
Of course, it does anger me somewhat that they decided to add their own parts to it as parts of the New Testimate, because it makes no sense to add ANYTHING to a holy book that only one person and one person ONLY is allowed to change or add to-Moses/Moshe Rabeinu (or teacher). That's the only part of it that don't like!

I know a lot of Christians and I don't know any of them who spread hate. Any true Christian uses our Book to spread love and tries to make the world a better place. Besides, we use the Torah, the Christian Bible has a lot of other books added. Hate is a confusing concept to me, it takes to much energy and time to hate.

Well, it's nice that they want to read the book in the first place...most people who "spread hate" as you say seem to be focusing on another book, anyhow.

Most people don't want to know or don't care. In past centuries when we tried correcting the misconceptions we were burned at the stake, etc. by the church and its followers, so *shrug!*
So there isn't much we can do except to teach our own not to fall for their missionary tactics so that we at least remain intact as a people and a religion within our own communities.

Christ (Jesus) is a Jew, the original Christian since he is God in the flesh. He is the author of both the old testament (the Israelites) and the new testament (both for the Jews and the gentiles) . He is the Word of God.
Jesus preached Luke 6:35 "But love your enemies and do good, and lend, hoping for nothing again; and your reward shall be great, and ye shall be the children of the Highest: for he is kind unto the unthankful and to the evil." Romans 12:21 "Be not overcome of evil, but overcome evil with good."
He never preached hate. Those who use God's word (the Bible) for hate and greed will receive what the sowed. They are Not Christians (Christ like). There is no escaping what we say and do in this life. Matthew 12:37 "For by thy words thou shall be justified, and by thy words thou shall be condemned".
As for who is a Jew? Romans 3:28-29 " For he is not a Jew, which is outwardly; neither is that circumcision, which is outward in the flesh:
But he is a Jew, which is one inwardly; and circumcision is that of the heart, in the spirit, and not in the letter; whose praise is not of men, but of God."
Don't get caught up with ignorance of the things in this world and who God really is. Life is too short to live in hate.

You want to talk about stealing? Gravel mouth and others have stolen people's homes and bulldozed them down, forced people to live in cages and get spit on in front of their own army. They steal electrial power and water supply from the people who's land they stole. And you have the audacity to say that anyone stole anything from us? Knobhead, Jesus was a JEW, so He didn't steal anything. Pull your brain out of your hot dog bun.

Well their hate and intolerance for others comes more from their own texts. The whole if you dont believe in Jesus you will burn in hell thing.
As for stealing it, their is really nothing I can do about that. What I do resent is when they try to use our texts to validate their religion. That I do not like.

I'll second A.B. They didn't steal it -- it's still ours. Unfortunately they are obsessed with the violence rather than justice and charity.
