Do i have food posioning? would i have gotten it from that? I don't have the most common symptoms, but I do have 3/6 from the site I found...
HELP!

I know how you feel, I get this every year for some reason. First time I had a fever and sleepiness, headaches, but no pooping or throwing up. Second I did throw up, but I was thirsty like crazy, oh and sleepy bad. The third time earlier this year I was thirsty like hell, and not hungry at all all day and belly pains, no pooping or throwing up. it's weird..I guess it is a form of food poisoning, i guess. Because you know how everybody is different? It sucks, and yes, I did ate bad stuff that time. Whyat I like to do is eat those freezer pops. Cuz I usually don't like to eat or drink a lot cuz i already still feel full but the ice just melts in my mouth and takes the thirst away, and it has a flavor to it. Best thing is to rest. Good luck.

Now whether your disease is actually from the salami or not is a different story. Salami usually keeps for quite awhile and that's why a lot of campers take it with them when the go out for weeks on end. It could be some flu type thing going around. At any rate, just eat simple foods for a few days (like crackers and drink 7 Up or ginger ale) and see how it goes. It should go away soon.

Salami would be low on my list of suspicious foods...with all of the preservatives, it should last forever without spoiling.

I wonder what other foods you ate and I'm seriously considering other diagnoses....

I would think food poisoning if you had watery diarrhea and/ or vomiting, for instance...especially after drinking suspicious water source, raw milk products, eating raw or undercooked eggs or poultry, mayonnaise or creamed dishes that may have been left out longer than 2 hours, or raw fruits or veggies that may have been unwashed or contaminated.

It does not sound like food poisoning to me. Usually, food poisoning will affect you within 4 to 6 hours of consumption of the bad food. For you it has been two days and you had a day (Thursday) with no symptoms.

No, it wouldn't be food poisoning. Your body gets rid of anything bad that has entered your system within hours if not sooner.

I once ate a reese's peanut butter cup with what was probably a bad peanut in it and I was violently ill within minutes.

You probably just have a small bug or something, but not food poisoning.

Unlikely. If it was properly stored it doesn't just automatically turn bad in that short time. Also most food poisoning occurs within hours not days.

If you ate this seven days ago, I wouldn't worry about it being from that, you'd have felt ill before this. Look for something you ate within the last seven to twelve hours or sooner for some diseases.

If you had serious food poisoning you'd be barfing and pooping like crazy. Sounds like you have an upset tummy. Drink water and let it pass.
