Honestly, if the boss loves her, find a new job. And when you hand in your resignation, be sure to politely thank the boss for your time with them but clearly state that the reason you are leaving is because of her rude and offensive behavior.
If you have to stay there, perhaps find out if others are offended by her and then, as a group, call a meeting with the boss. Be sure to keep your conversation to actual facts, not feelings. Go to the meeting with examples of specific incidents AND a solutions to the problem (other than firing her). Present it from the point of view that you want to make the business run more smoothly and this woman is preventing that with her awful behavior. Remind the boss that when the office does not work well together, ultimately, the customers (and the profits) suffer.
It may just be that the boss does not see what is going on because they are not around. If a number of people all have the same complaint, that will open the boss's eyes. But be prepared, if the office beeotch gets wind of this....it will be h.e. l.l. to pay working with her!

Been There. You have to stand up to this bully. I would quit. And I will bet she will or the company will beg you to come back. If they don't you will find another BETTER job where people have respect for one another. If you choose to return then return under the condition that you like to be treated and spoken to as you treat and speak to people. I think that's all you can do. Give it a try and I know things will be better. If you don't think that they will take you back after quitting then ask to be laid off due to lack of work or something so you can collect unemployment until a better job comes along. Be strong. You are too good for that. Peace.

Been there. . .two things worked.
1. Find a new job.
2. Consider it your DUTY to find something good about that person and love them (no matter what). Consider her like your little bratty sister who just needs to be understood or something.
I don't think you'll win a feud here, so I recommend deciding whether you like your job or not, and then choosing either 1 or 2.

Have people start confronting her...being a b**** and hearing that your a b**** are two different things. I know for a fact because I was the one in my office and I finally realized I was being a b**** when everyone kept telling me how I made them feel.

Look for another job! Also consider doing what I am currently doing, go to work, do your job, and ignore those you don't want to be bothered with. Talk to her when you have to and other than that, just pretend that she is not even there.

Just do your work and be polite, some people usually use this attitude because they also can get fired if they don't do their job, look on the positive side of things!

Tell her something.
"Everyone here is getting sick and tired of your bad attitude. Please, if you don't have something nice to say, don't say it at all."
"People have been talking, and lately, it upsets them and I coming to work because you're being horribly rude..."
Anything along those lines is OK. Don't be afraid to speak your mind, and remember, there is always strength in numbers!
