Unfortunately, a description of a dog is not going to give you a correct, accurate answer. I'm assuming that you don't even know whether she's a mutt or purebred.
Try to search these breeds: American Pit Bull Terrier, American Staffordshire Terrier, American/English bulldog, Chinese Shar-Pei, Bull Terrier, puggle.
Better yet, go to dogbreedinfo.com and the akc.org and search the breeds on those websites. Perhaps you'll come across your dog.
If not, perhaps you should wait till your puppy grows up; it's harder to guess what a puppy is.
Good luck.

There are actually DNA tests that you can do now to find out what your dog is. It is very hard to tell just by looking at them especially if the parents were mixed and the grandparents were mixed, etc. The first one is the Canine Heritage breed test. You can look it up and order on line at www.metamorphixinc.com if you want. Also, there is the Mars wisdom panel. This one is a little more in depth and requires a blood sample. You can get more info about that one at www.whatsmydog.com. Good luck. I have two mutts that I am having tested too!

A mutt. Wrinkly face is probably a Shar Pei, the rest who knows. Google shar pei to see a picture.

Sounds like an American Bulldog (Some people can't tell the difference between American Bulldogs and Pit's). A mutt is also a possibility. I can't tell you for sure without seeing the dog.

how long is her hair? how old is she? how large is she? and how much does she weigh? Your not giving enough info. A pic would help. but what you just described could be one of a handful of breeds..
