You have your cause and effect reversed. Wealthy states attract economic refugees. Ecconomic refugees do not make states wealthy.

The wealth is connected with poor. Without poor pl. its impossible to even exist Rich people. Let me tell you something, for those who think they should stop with any cost immigration. Once you stop this, the economy will die. More people more money, cheap labor ,slaves, without them a country die economically. An example is that :Nobody will do many jobs who are now done by the immigrants. An American from a successful actors family will never work on a garbage truck. A state can't survive if its full with doctors, cops, scientists ,actors and so on because somebody will have to clean up the garbage after, make the food, make the clothing, and all utility's who that state needs(electricity,auto-mechanics,delivery..etc). There is a price and this is the one. You can't sell on and on and not buy anything. I hope one day there will be no more "its my country" , "I'm a patriot" and all this crap because life is to short to waste on this long gone ideology witch BTW is 100% Communist and that's why today we see so much violence, death, hate and so on.

California was also the 6th economy in the world before the 86? amnesty bill. Illegal immigrants have taken advantage of that status, not created it. With the continued drain California will have a hard time maintaining that status.

California was rich before Mexicans became the majority here. It has nothing to do with why we aer so rich. Illegal immigrants is believed to be a cause of why the middle class is disappearing in California Their existence help drive up cost for the middle class and slowly killing them.

A lopt of those people have been here longer than the whites, BTW.
Before we were a state in the United States.
I wouldn't say "full" of Mexicans.
The Central Valley -- which has historically grown a LOT of crops -- has had a substantial migrant worker population.
That's why produce has been as cheap as it's tended to be.

How many rich Mexicans live in California?
You have been making these same absurd claims for a while.
California like Taiwan, China, Japan and Singapore are high cost economies.
How many Mexicans are buying those million dollar row houses in SanFrancisco?

Maybe because they are exploting Mexicans. It will not stay a rich state for long. In my opinion,Cal. is a mess. I grew up there and lived there most of my life. It is a real shame,it used to be beautiful.

There is a lot of resources in California such as agriculture, oil, and labor. I hear California's economy is slowly going downhill though.

Mexicans work hard in California. The image some people want to believe of them being lazy and living off of government aid simply isn't true. They pool resources and are willing to share homes in order to survive on low-paying jobs. It isn't unusual for adults to work more than one job, and they help each other with child care so they don't need to pay sitters.
California relies heavily on agriculture and tourism. Mexicans hold a majority of the jobs in both industries. (By tourism jobs, I am thinking of kitchen and hotel staffs, not shopkeepers.)
Some people are threatened by the truth.

Illegal aliens are in California because of it's proximity and because it's already rich. It is rich IN SPITE OF, not because of the illegal aliens there.
What are you proposing?? That California is rich because of the illegal aliens??
The issue is not "Mexicans", the issue is illegal aliens. That is a racist question.
