Yes is is a crazy world, and more than that it is wrapped in an evil cloak! It looks so good we can't even see it.
I have two friends that are self avowed pagans. One has gone down hill in her life's goals, her art, her marriage, and even her once tasteful home shows a degeneration. She can't see it.
The other friend worships a moon goddess, (IL-Illa?) Anyways that's the god/goddess a lot of scholars believe "Muhammad" chose as the main god to worship and proclaimed it the only God. I have an acquaintance in Toronto who worships a Greek myth goddesss! She gave me a dirty look when she saw my response to that! Told me not to look like that her goddes is as valid as any other one!.!. And she was serious. (flaky as well, but that's not an excuse for prostrating to a myth).
Yep, it's crazy and it isn't going to get any better.
People wonder why we Christians support foreign Evangelists, but they don't see that we are trying to show the likes of the Hindus that there is only one God. The God of Abraham, Israel, and the Holy Father of Jesus the Christ.
The more we can show, the better for more.
God bless you and take care.

Honey, you believe in a mythical god, talking snakes, a boat that held two of every animal on the planet for 40 nights with only 8 people to care for them, a man born of immaculate conception, the son of a god and a human virgin woman, water turning into wine, a stick turning into a snake, a man walking on water... shall I go on?

How is your belief any less ridiculous than any of the others?

Might like to take a closer look at your own.

Hindu Gods are but aspects of the one God, Atman. Athena was the 'representation' of beauty. It's like taking a quality and making it a person. An idol, if you will. By creating an external idol like that you take the attention away from the inner self and onto a FORM, hence Bible says 'no idol worship' because all aspects of God is in your HEART. Within YOU. That's why Muslims destroy all idols, because they want to have God and everything holy only w/in their MINDS. I agree, but you don't have to kill people though.

Whether or not a faith is a myth depends entirely on the conqueror of the people that believe it. Hindus don't see them as mythical gods. In fact, to them, your god is mythical, so where exactly is the difference? Oh, and don't refer to the bible, that's like saying harry potter is real because the Sorceror's Stone said he was the greatest wizard of all time. It makes no sense. You can't use a work of fiction to support your argument.

first of all when I read your question before I went to it- I thought it was written by a person who had not faith at all- even though you did not write the whole word- do you think writing the F word was appropriate? Do you think any one would want to believe in Christ if Christians act no different then the world?

That depends on your beliefs. I beleive that "God" can be perceived as many different entities and/or personifications. I think that maybe you should study it for yourself. Knowledge is power and if you understand more about other beleif patterns then maybe it could help you strengthen your faith. You never know the world is a mysterious place.
Blessed Be to you as well.

It is crazy to believe in such things as you have mentioned. But the "craziest" belief of all is that God became a man in the form of Jesus Christ of Nazareth and took upon Himself my sin in order that I might spend eternity in heaven with Him.

Praise the Lord God Almighty for granting me the faith to believe in the gospel of Jesus Christ!

don't mean to call you out, being that you are my Godly sister and all. But, using the term "f'ing" is just as bad, if not worse than the actual word. Possibly worse because you may try to justify it, saying that its okay, yet the meaning is the same.
