well, definition wise there is a difference between legal and not legal. So technically you are wrong. I would like people to not have guns but then again I think it is a wasted thought. Once one gives people too many liberties, in this case letting anyone have guns, there could be trouble. For example, a criminal will have the right to have a gun and then the criminal will probably kill a bunch of people. So, people you tell me how having personal guns is the best thing. About that check yourself thing, I have to agree with you. Why should people care about how a person got to succeed, how much they have, if they are illegal or not, etc. Yes, they should try to continue living their lives, working to be successful without bothering anybody. Or are those people seriously that bored that they have to give a damn about every one?
oh yeah, what kind of retard says "we will need these guns to protect ourselves when the illegal immigrants take over". So you want to kill them all? That's what I mean, that would be the act of a criminal.

Um. I am not an immigrant. I am an American citizen, born and bred here.

My father was not an immigrant. He too was born and bred here.

My mother was a legal German immigrant. Her first order of business was learning English, so much so that by the time I was a small child, she spoke it perfectly to the point where few could tell she was from Germany. She worked at assimilating into our culture.

Our beef with immigration today, is that millions of immigrants do not come here legally, they make no effort to learn the language or assimilate, and many sponge off our social services.

I know if I were immigrating to another country, #1 on my list would be to immigrate legally. #2 would be to learn the language and try and fit in.

If a country can't even dictate who comes across it's borders, why even bother having a country? What's the point.

No. We are not all immigrants. Many of us are decendants of immigrants. (Even socalled Native Americans) came from different areas of the world.) Seems some feel their was a land bridge to Asia a long time ago. When guns are outlawed only outlaws will have guns. We can stop it by insisting that our officials enforce current laws. If you are in this country illegally you are illegal and are a law breaker. That is a positive illegal act. Owning a gun is not, it is a right granted by and insisted upon by our founders because it gives us protection from unethical government. Cain used a rock. After you outlaw guns will you demand that rocks be outlawed. It is the person who commits the crime, not the instrument.

What exactly is your argument and why are you jumping back and forth like a frog on a hot rock from immigration to abolishing guns to the war in Iraq to no one listening to "our" voices? In your case, who is the collective voice and what exactly is your point unless you are just trying to start some malevolent, Seinfeldian discourse about nothing.

The people that cried no war before Iraq were in a teeny tiny minority. Those that want something done about illegal immigration are such an overwhelming majority its ridiculous.

I know. i agree. these people make the immigration issue seem worse then the iraq war. they are sad. those anti--illegals who waste all their time moaning and complaining about immigration, they are UNAMERICAN, we have a war going on over there, use your time for that.

The only country that has ever completely abolished guns from the public was Hitler's Germany.

Screw yourself on the gun abolish idea you communist. There is a big difference between Immigration and illegal criminals. But I guess as someone who thinks our second amendment should be abolished, one should not expect you to understand the difference. Public school education have you? p.s. never tell Americans what we can and cannot do.

If you were born here regardless of nationality you are a citizen not an immigrant. While you can argue that their Parents or their Great Great Great Grandfathers were immigrants that does not change the fact that if you're born here you are not an immigrant. Check yourself before you wreck yourself.

Any persons still living in the country where they were born are not immigrants. Look up the meaning of the word.
