"God" bless you! A breath of real fresh air!!! I would have starred this one again and again...!!
Beliefs fall away, quite naturally, when we value 'what is', right now, more than anything else...more than getting involved in repeated patterns of thought.
Beliefs are made up from the 'past' and are a dead end. They keep us mired in conditioned behavior.
For those of us who know the freedom of *dropping* the belief system, well...there is the "Pearl of great price"...finding out what we are. Awareness.

Going to have to agree that Eve's answer is wonder-full!
Thank You Eve! Much Love to you!
And, I will add that there is a time and a place when the destruction of something is more appropriate than the creation of it. This is one of those times...
I will surely drift with you... But I ask, are we really drifting, or are we merely staying in one spot, being aware of everything drifting by us?
Love & Peace!

indeed....
beliefs serve, as focus on the breath serves, as mantra serves....
to use as tools, to calm the mind, calm the body,
to free the true self - to me - the heart.
I have tasted the bitterness of fanaticism, the despair of denial, the hollowness of following. They have all served me very well - that which I judged I became, grew an understanding of, and can now allow and release.
What is now dearly held and so cherished, is but another step, a limit, truth to a level...designed for transmutation
Allowing beliefs to dissolve is the greatest act of compassion
Compassion for the Self, to give it wings to fly home.
Thank you, I would love to drift with you
and you,
and you.......

Yes. Only if the one that comes before my belief is better representing the truth. It is a normal occurence for me. I usually give up the old set of belief when a better set presents itself in time. This is why I never get myself entangled to any religion. I want to grow and move beyond the confinement of dogmatism.

You shouldn't allow YOUR BELIEFS to be destroyed , Your thoughts are still your thoughts even if someone put a certain belief or thought in you head, You shouldn't let go of what you feel is certain or right.

Yes, some of my beliefs can be destroyed.
But not all my beliefs. The fundamental ones are becoming increasingly indestructible.

Our beliefs can prevent us from discovering truth. We're often walled in by them and cannot see beyond them. I strive to be open to change, adaptation and transformation but many of my beliefs have hung around for a good many years now. We'll see what tomorrow brings as we drift along into realms of cosmic awareness. :-) Thanks for the invite!

Unless we kill our biliefs we will not be relieved of the burden of our actions and their results so to drift in the cosmos cut down all the biliefs and fly freely .I AM READY !

What do you think brainwashing does? Anyone's "beliefs" can be altered by the right amount of pain, chemicals, and the right method of breaking down someone's belief structure.

yes of course you can. We are all only human, we all make mistakes, do and say things we regret, maybe not try hard enough or take our faith for granted sometimes. I know I have! But essentially I always come back to it. It feels right to me.
