If it's a store such as a national retail chain, you should get your paychecks, eventually, sent to you.

If it's a mom-and-pop operation, you might have to ask for them.

Either way, it may be a while since you left without the courtesy of notice and they probably hold onto the check for a certain period, assuming that you'll have the balls to go pick it up.

Next time, either give notice or don't take the job in the first place if you're going to be such an irresponsible wanker.

They should send you a check to the address you gave them when applying.

I did the same thing when I was a teenager. I only worked one day then quit. I was so embarrassed that I didn't even care about the money. Six months later I got a check for $77.

SInce they owe you more I would call and ask them to send you the check sooner. By law that HAVE to send it to you.

Good luck!

If you are speaking of a paycheck for hours that you did work, they should be holding the check for you. You may be able to call and get them to send you a check.

They do have to pay you for the time that you've worked. But might be holding them back if you have items you need to return to them.

At my store, I've had a few people just never show up for their shift, never call me and never pick up or return my calls to them. We would hold their pay until we received their store key, uniform and any our of rentals they had in their possession. Once we got our stuff back, then we give them their pay during the next payroll.

They still have to pay you for whatever time you worked. You could call and ask them for the checks. They might figure that since you just didn't show up, you'll be too embarrassed to call. But they do have to pay you, so call them.
