Which one is better,generally speaking.

It's hard to say. I have Kenwood in my car and it sounds and works fantastic. I would say Kenwood only because they have a lot more experience in car speakers, where Sony is mainly focused around surround sound, tv, and other speakers like that. Kenwood can also hook you up with some pretty cheap prices which are always nice.

The only kenwood or sony equipment I would run would be head unit. But even then I would pick Pioneer.
As far as everything else...I wouldn't want to use a Sony or Pioneer amp...but thats based on experience and knowledge of better products for better prices.
To answer your question directly without giving opinion on anything else....I would go to Sony.

I have always preferred Sony, but thats only because we can get Sony stuff cheaper. Kenwood is excellent too!

first comes pioneer then sony then kenwood....now its upto u...pioneer n sony are much more popular for their stability n good functioning....they are easy to use n less create problems...
kenwood is not soo good but can work normally...

Kennwood is awsome i have a deck and its great i have had it for 2 years and had no problems with it get kennwood its the best.

if you got the money buy jl audio it's a better brand then both of your choices there

kenwood over sony anyday!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!Sony sucks when it comes to car audio
