Well since you didn't spefify the tone of your tan ( and you didn't give me a picture ) , I divided it into 4 parts :

1 - Light warm skin tones :

You have warm , yellow-red undertones . Your skin may be described as ivory , peaches and cream , creamy beige or light golden tan . Your eye color is green , hazel , amber , or brown .

Choose a hair color that is light and warm for the most flattering effect .

This includes beige blonde , light golden blonde , strawberry blonde , light auburn , light brown with lots of golden or red highlights or golden blonde with red highlights .

2 - Medium to deep warm skin tones :

You have warm , yellow-red undertones . You would be described as having tawny , deep golden brown or coppery skin . Your eye color is green , topaz , amber , cinnamon , or coffee bean in color .

Deep , rich hair color is for you . Your best shade may be medium to dark golden brown , golden brown with red highlights , honey brown , chestnut , copper or mahogany .

3 - Light cool skin tones :

You have cool or blue-red undertones . Your skin color might be called alabaster , rosy pink , rose beige or light pearl . Your eye color is light blue , gray blue , gray green or blue green .

Choose a hair color that is cool or ‘ ash ’ in tone , such as white blonde , platinum or silvery blonde , taupe or light brown with wheat tones . Highlight any of these with lighter ash or platinum blonde .

4 - Medium to deep cool skin tones :

Your skin tone may be referred to as light olive , dark olive , gray-brown , dark brown or ebony and your eye color may be blue-green , deep blue , deep green , cool brown or black .

Flattering hair color shades are plum , burgundy brown , dark brown , black , slate or any of these with plum or burgundy highlights .

Good Luck

Try some medium or light brown [ caramel and honey ] streaks. Don't go lighter than your skin tone - it will make you look sallow.
Or, try a temporary rinse in a shade you like, before you commit to a color. Buy from the same line for the temporary and permanent color, so they are the same. DON'T go by the name of the color, look at it yourself.

Ya people with dark skin normally have dark brown hair right..well Im the same way as you hunny....Im really really tan with bright green eyes...so lets see...um Ive had black hair before but i wouldnt recommend it for you um i would say though like a redish brownish color u no and it will get more red with the sun but it something that you really have to keep up because the red fads out so much u no...if you dont have alot of money to spend i would recommend the red...

um lets see...i would recommend highlights or lowlights...of different colors i would NOT NOT NOT recommend go really blonde or really light because with us girls we just ...i mean thats not something we can do with our beautiful dark skin you know? so um lets see...maybe so highlights/lowlights of red, blonde, gold, carmel, maybe even black , i mean just go wild with it you can get magazines...look at girls with your skin color only and see the hair colors they have....you have to accept that you can only have colors that excenuate your skin tone. Good LUck!

I have dark hair and dark skin too. I died my hair like more of a chocolately brown that looks reddish in the sun. It is not a huge significant change but as they say less is more.

It is that kind of change that people love and compliment, but can't pinpoint. It is a very rich color... you'd like it. Dont do too drastic of a change.

Bleach some streaks and keep them blonde or possibly dye them red or auburn in the front. Experiment with haircuts to change things up too.

I would do a brown-blonde noticeably but not unnaturally bright colored highlights for your hair color. I would call it kind of a chestnut or light brown.

Jet black hair. I have truly dark brown hair and I think dark hair looks better. I avoid really like blonde hair.
