Don't give up! There are a lot of singers on broadway that aren't amazing. Besides, I bet you can sing. Remember, you are your worst critic. Auditions aren't that hard at all, you just need the mindset to suceed. Believe you can make it, that you are good. Yeah it takes time to develop your own brand of confidence but you can. You can learn how to sing with programs, books, etc. that don't cost much. Or if you really are determined you can get a job to pay for your own lessons. Save money. Don't give up! I have the same dream and my mom doesn't support me. But my dad does. So don't give up! Believe you can make it! Im sure you will! Goodluck in whatever you do!

The worst thing you can do in your life is deny a dream or a passion. As a vocalist who has been training for 6 years, I tell you that every single human being who is neither deaf nor mute can physically sing. It just takes more training for some. I've had vocal coaches who have worked with both angelic singers and singers who sounded like dying cats! If you find the right teacher and you practice enough, you can bring your singing level up an enormous amount. It just takes determination. And who knows, maybe you CAN sing and you are just being too hard on yourself! Regardless, I advise you to take singing and acting lessons and work hard. You might also want to try different types of dance lessons to gain more experience. Don't ever give up on your dream. Either live out your goals, or die trying. Don't make your life worthless. As long as you're working towards what you love, nothing else matters.

Life is in the journey, not the destination! Good luck and best wishes!

You can still get to broadway. Learn to dance and act too. Sometimes being able to sing a little is all it takes when you are willing to learn other things. Don't ever give up. Not to mention you might be able to teach which could land you as a stage director or someother kind of job on broadway. The stars aren't the only people on broadway. Never give up on your dream. Just focus on making it happen instead. I'm 40, I haven't danced in 10 years because I'm raising a family but I never give up my dream. Even if I fall short of it I will still accomplish something. Never give up. never...

Nothing wrong with dreaming about being on Broadway. It sounds like a healthy dream. Since you are sane enough to realize the odds are overwhelmingly against you to succeed, you could dream as much as you want without having others worry about your mental health.
