that's your decision!!! if that's your look and your type of music, then go for it!! hey, if you dont like it you can always take it out!! i had dreads when i went on my cruise and it was a hard transition to get used to, my head hurt for the first day, and they were miserable to get out!! just my personal opinion!!!

good luck

I don't see anything wrong with it. What makes you think that dreads will be so easy to do just because you have long hair? Dreads are a committment and most people spend several years taking care of them, growing them...... Just keep in mind that it will likely take you a long time to get them looking good, and if you get tired of them, you'll have to cut them out---there's no going back.

Try this to see if you like it first....section out you hair into how many dreads you want.Twist each section and add some mushy soap ( like bar soap, you know how soap gets when it is wet) it will work like glue. Do it when you hair is dry . This way if you dont like how the dreads look..you can wash your hair and the soap will fall right out.
ps: i think dreads will give you a cool" i dont give a heck" look.
BTW: put the soap all along each dread.

i knew a girl who was white and she had long blonde hair. she did dreads on all of it, and i thought it looked awesome. she always got compliments. it didnt look gross or dirty. so i say go for it! but remember, its a long process and you gotta take good care of it. its also a major pain to get rid of them.. you usually have to end up cutting the dreads off or literally ripping them apart until you have something you can work with. but if you're in it for the long run..good luck, it might turn out great!

Depends if it fits YOU or not, there are different styles and looks that can go with dreads, so you should be fine if you would like to if you're up to it. they're a comittment and you must care greatly for them, just don't forget that if you go into getting them.
Here's a pretty girl with partial blonde dreads.

I've seen many white girls with dread, and pulled them off quite nicely. If you would like them, and can manage them, I say go for it!

Why don't u just cut it? if u dont like ur hair in dreads u wont be able to get it done back the way it was before, so I would just have it cut.

i dont think u should do it i have nothing against dreads, I am from Jamaica however because of ur hair texture it looks really messy and unattractive when white people try to do it

usually a white girl with dreads is kind of a no-no...it looks like your trying to be something your not, even if it does fit you somehow.

Personally, I think it would look awesome! I've always wanted dreads myself, but never had the "balls" to do it. You have to cut them out if you choose not to have them anymore...you can't just "un-tie" them. I could never go w/out my hair.
