I'm visiting my family who hasnt seen us in five years. Were all tight, but all of a sudden theyve gotten cold on me and my brother. I feel like throwing punches but of course I cant do that. I'm threatening on going back to my state. I have no idea what to do......

I would talk to them let them know how your feeling, and ask them if there is a problem. I'm sure it has nothing to do with you or your brother. If they say nothing is wrong, and they are still treating you and your brother horribly, then yes I would go back home too. You and your brother should not be treated in that manner, especially by family. Good Luck!

Talk to them and let them know how you both are feeling, that's the only way you will get a true answer, instead of wondering and stressing over it. There must be a reason as to why they are cold all of a sudden?....

Your family might not be aware of their actions. You and your brother may want to let them know that you are upset.If they still act Strange ,tell them CU!!GOOD LUCK!Though do give them a chance to get to know ya!After all , FIVE years is a long time.

Perhaps has nothing to do with you or your brother and they are having their own personal problems that is taking up their time & thoughts. or it does have something to do with you and your brother. Either way, you need to ask delicately . . "Did I do something wrong. I want to know since I suddenly feel that you are so distant from me?"
Then make your decision on what to do: resolve, understand or leave.

Maybe they don't want to have someone who goes off the deep end when she doesn't get the attention she wants. Becoming violence and threatening is no way to behave, shame on you.
