SoundMAX compatibility with VISTA?

I installed Vista Ultimate and my integrated SoundMax Cadenza card does not work at all. I tried updating the codecs, I tried Windows Update, I have uninstalling/re-installing. In Vista it states its working properly but there is no sounds coming from the speakers. My board is an Intel D845PEBT2. I have checked Intel's site but there are no update. I have checked driverguide.com, also no update. Anyone got possible solutions to this dilemma?

Make sure your sounds are not muted and also that the volume is turned up.
