A dad drowns kills his two little girls and then hangs himself.
What gives??

This is not true in the United States. However there are other countries that condone this sort of behavior. There are some countries that don't believe that a human is a conscious individual until they are 7 years of age. Prior to their 7th birthday they can be killed by their parents. Japan has a lot of laws similar to this and it is not uncommon for females to be killed. Japan has limits on the number of children you can have and each family wants a boy in order to carry on the family name. The limits imposed are a form of population control. Due to this law though males outnumber females by a tremendous number.

Resurrect him and ask him.
To hear it from his own mouth would be the only way we could ever understand what would possess a person to do something like that. Granted, if he did try to explain it, we'd undoubtedly be locking him up in a psychiatric ward. But these people actually think their actions are justified.

Unfortunately, this is what our society has come down to - children's rights are overlooked, and parent's aren't receiving the proper treatment for their mental illness.
There is NO way to know exactly was going through his mind - but if you COULD ask him, he probably thought that he was "saving" his children...
From what, I'm not sure - it could be the sins of this modern world, the "evil" of his (ex?)wife, or just some mental delusion.
Regardless, this is a very sad thing - and one that is becoming FAR too common these days... :(:(:(

I saw that and the most heart wrenching part was that the mom had dropped them off! I know if she had an idea that this would happen she would not have done that and also she will probably feel guilty that she took them....pooooor lady!! I feel soooo bad for her!! I will never understand why parents do such horrible things to their children....i just wanna cry!! :( it is soooo super sad.....I send my prayers!

I ask myself the same question. It's sickening. For some it's temporary insanity, for others it's mental problems, no matter what, nothing can ever justify or explain such a horrible act - on your own children!

He was obviously distraught, despondent and INSANE at the time; That's probably why his wife left him. He should have spared the children, though, & just offed himself the selfish bast---d...the kids were innocent; i guess he did that to get back at the wife.

If you want to die, kill yourself. Don't take the lives of innocent children along with you.
I heard this story the other day that this woman didn't want her child, so she had it and stabbed the baby to death and hid them in a body bag in her closet.
that's just sick.

some people have nervous breakdowns and go crazy. see i dont have a mental illness but when im stressed out and upset i do things i normally wouldnt

It's called mental illness. It's tragic and senseless, but there are many people out there with mental problems.
