Sorry but this is the silliest question that I have come across so far.
Perhaps you have not seen the amputed limbs or the persons who are to be operated upon. I have seen wars and my father and several uncles fought the world wars and other wars in the Indian subcontinent even my own son fought the Kargil war in the north India. I have seen soldiers with dangling hands, with one or both legs torn apart, bullet piercing right across the head, pieces of body blown up by land mins bundled in a box, the body boxes nothing to identify except the name on the box.

Never ever cut jocks on such persons. You have no idea what is the life after the amputation, one of the army officer wrote a book " Better dead than disabled"

You wanted to know what happens to the amputed limbs, they are ceremonially put to fire or buried as per the religion of the soldiers and for the civilians the procedure is the same except there is no final rites, they are destroyed by the kith and kins of the near and dears.

The limbs of Christian amputees die and return to dust just like the rest of our human body. Jesus promises a new perfect body when we reach Heaven. Those who die and enter Hell do so just as they were in life. So I assume, if they lost a limb in life it will remain lost to them in Hell as well.
