I went to career cruising dot com, and found that Parole Officers are the top choice for me and they sound very very much like my ideal job. Though it says i should learn French. I don't like French and I want to know if not taking French will impact me on being a Parole Officer.

I see little need to learn French unless you are in a country where French is the secondary language, or if you are in Canada where it is split between French and English.

Well, you could not be parole officer in Haiti, Paris or parts of Canada without French. Other than that it has no impact.
If you are sucker enough to believe what you read on some web site then believing the stories your parolees tell you will be easier. They tend to lie a lot.

Why should you learn French. In the United States there is practically little use for. Spanish would be better.
