You asked so here it is, it is an outright lie, lead by fools and charlatans who hope to scare the American public into destroying our ecomny. I base this on the following facts that any 5th grader can easily check out if they really want to know the truth, instead of being lead by the nose like a complete fool.
1. The alarmist claim that burning fossil fuels is the cause of recent warming, however most of the warming took place before most of the increase of CO2. There was actually a significant cooling period from the mid-1940s to the late 1970s, while CO2 was increasing rapidly, and there was another increase from 1979 to 1998. In fact there has been no warming since 1998 – an eight-year period, and even a slight statistically cooling, despite the fact that CO2 has continued to rise.
2. The correlation between co2 emissions effecting global warming is extremely small compared to the correlation between global temperature and sun cycles. The sun cycles affect temperature in two ways first by the cycling up and down of actual heat energy that is emitted by the sun. This has a small effect on global temperature. The more important one is cycling in solar winds. Solar wind blocks cosmic radiation from coming into the Earth’s atmosphere. The more cosmic rays come in the more low level clouds there are and low-level clouds reflect solar heat energy back into space. If there are more clouds the earth is cooler and if there are fewer clouds, the earth is warmer. As solar wind cycles up cosmic rays cycle up and down in reverse and clouds up and down. So the solar window is very important to earth’s temperature, and neither you nor I have any control over these.

I think that it has become more of a political issue than an environmental one. There is little hard evidence to suggest humans are causing any significant warming on our planet. It is actually quite normal to have slight fluctuations in the earth's temperature.

Certain political figures have taken it upon themselves to make an issue where there was none, all in an attempt to muster up support for their political party. I guess it was smart, because it seems to be working.

I just find it unfortunate that they couldn't use their time to combat real issues that face humans.

And don't get me wrong, I love this planet and I want us all to respect it and understand that this is our home and we have to keep it safe and clean, but until there is real evidence about global warming, I will put my efforts elsewhere.

I can offer a Laymans opinion based on observation and 30 years out and about in Africa,Mexico conscerning indisputable climatic changes because of mans actions .And from information available from the Permaculture cirquit

MAN MADE CLIMATIC CHANGES
Man is responsible for much climate change it cannot be whitewashed by Global warming
If Global warming now also want to change the climate it has to stand in line
because it is not the only one,

I went to the jungles of Oaxaca and discussed with the Natives the mountain before us ,Mostly deforrested ,scarred by landslides and dotted with madly steep corn patches (which only produced for 3 years ),and devoid of clouds.

They all agreed that the days were hotter ,there was less rain ,And the river was dry part of the year.

When they were boys ,the river was bigger and ran all year around,the mountain was always covered in clouds with daily rains .And the days were more bearable .

Their actions in the desperate plight to feed their enormous families of avarage 12 kids per family ,often much more ,had destroyed their home ground with indisputable climate changes.
They had changed their climate.This happens all over Mexico

In Africa I have seen lush wooded lands change into dessert within a few years by large invading comunities ,who devoured the trees for building and firewood ending up in a dessert with out water
and with a hot sun under which no new plantation was possible.The people had changed their climate,this happens all over Africa.

In Northern china two mayor dessert are merging and 900 vilages are buried under the dust ,thousands of refugee farmers who had changed their climate ,by intensive agressive agriculture are fleeing for their lives,

This happens all over the world .it happened in the 20ties in the USA has everybody forgotton that ,was this not a climate change ?

Granted the climatic changes are local ,but effects neighboring areas ,there is less rainfall, rivers dry up ,

Compare todays situation with what the place used to look like .

And understand how People have totaly changed their Environment and subsequently their climate

Add all of this together,from all over the globe, and calculate the results .Collectively because there is so much of it ,the global precipitation is affected,(the sweet water production) and so is the climate .

It's underway...-and portends to get MUCH worse before we create a plan good enough to BEGIN to reverse it. THAT won't be in our lifetimes. And maybe not in our children's- either. Our grandchildren are going to feel the BRUNT of Global Warming, & condemn us for our wastefullness & stupidity.

I think it's a way for people to scare others, so they can make them do what they want and make money. People have been doing that forever. Churches do it, Governments do it, insane dictators do it.
