This is going to sound a tad corny...but with your times and at your age, I think that there isn't a limit on your potential. You can do whatever you set your mind to. Just keep working hard and stay determined. Good luck and run hard!

Did you run these on an actual track? because 2:21 on the half mile is extremely good for 11, and if you got 6:09 on the mile those times don't really match up. I couldn't run a 2:21 half mile until I was 13, but I could run a 5:18 mile then too. I didn't have any training though and I guess you have.

You need to try and run at least a 5:30 on the mile, maybe you are starting out too fast or you're going too slow because you think it's a really long distance.

I have no idea what the best time's you will ever get are because only time and training will tell. You may not get a whole let better, or you could be in the olympics. Just work hard and never get cocky because you are getting 1st and 2nd places....you probably don't have any good competition around you now but it will be there in highschool so you'd better be prepared.

My best 1/2 mile was 2:17. My best mile was 5:17. I wasn't happy about that. I think you should be able to break a 2 minute 1/2 mile and you may break a 4:30 mile by the end of high school.

pretty good times for your age. Keep on running and as you get older and your body matures you will become stronger and be able to see a difference in your race times. back when i went from middle school to high school i went from running similar times you are to running around a 1:55-2:00 half mile and 4:30 mile. PRACTICE IS THE KEY!!

set a goal (research the possibilities so you stay realistic) and go for it. Don't accept what others tell you go for what feels right and stick to it
