A few door down is Burp Castle - looks like a medieval castle, the staff are dressed like monks and they have an even bigger selection of beers.

It's still around and still a good time. Don't let the negative answers make you avoid one more trip. It's still a lot of fun and great, but crowded, on St. Patrick's Day.

Yes but it ain't like it used to be -- full of students, Twenty somethings, tourists, student tourists and they have been admitting women for around 30 years, still looks the same and still not bad if you go in the afternoon or early PM on off nights.

Now allowing women, after all the years of being men only, yes McSorley's is still around. It is a standard of the east village.

Oh yeah..black and tan, and the best lunch specials...I love it in the winter when the stove is fired up..has become touristy, but usually local at lunch..think I will go grab a beer and the cheese plate! Thanks!
