It's rather disappointing to see people take a snotty attitude just because someone asks a question that they are either too incompetent or too self-righteous to give an answer without venom.

I saw something like that on Penn and Teller's show. Not surprisingly, it turned out that the paranormal view was a lot of... bovine excrement.

That makes absolutely no sense... EMF in this case i assume means electromagnetic fields... Electromagnetic fields are created by the movement of electric current... Did somebody wire up the world's sacred sites?... Maybe you mean magnetic fields (as this is different from electromagnetic fields), but these have been tested in many places and would likely be very noticeable were they notably high (i.e. with a compass).

If EMF levels had any true connection with religious experiences, people would be building shrines and temples at their local power plants.

I have yet to see anyone actually do that.

well, personally I got a temporary EMF spike of 8.4 in the center of Stonehenge in England. But it was very short lived.

They are all over the earth.
Aviation charts have them marked due to the interference on compass navigation.
