Metro, are you a racist? Racist generally only believe what they want to despite evidence to the contrary.
You ask questions that make no sense, you have no factual basis for your claims, all of your question-statements and answers seem to be pro-illegal.
Your dare is pure stupidity, Look at all the answers you get to your questions-statements, plenty of real live people show their feelings. Go to other peoples questions, same thing.
Yes there are people who are pro-illegals; but if you take any random number of questions in immigration on here, and not ones you hand pick but random, Add the pro answers and the anti answers, you will see We are against illegals by am overwhelming majority.
Please refrain from stating fact which you make up and don't talk anymore until you can at least sound halfway intelligent.
I checked out jconlys link, Metro you are full of thoughtless unintelligent empty racist rhetoric.

The media events you mentioned are staged. They select who is invited and who gets to ask questions. you want proof you are wrong, go the the GAO websites and look up the stats on how illegals impact our society economically. While they do pay some taxes, they use 10 times that amount in social services. Ask any hospital how much they lose each year due to unpaid services rendered to illegals. Contact an auto insurance firm in denver and ask them how much is lost on insurance claims due to illegals being in accidents and fleeing or providing false info. Big business likes illegals, they can save a lot of money on wages, insurance, ect. That does not mean they are good for our economy. as far as proving anything to you, not possible. you have already said you wont listen to poll data, and are only willing to decide based upon "Showing you" actual people. Well we just dont have time to have a rally so you can count heads. Unlike a lot of the protesters and illegals that show up to the pro illegal alien rallies and such, most of us who oppose illegal immigration have real jobs we need to go to to support our families. We neither have time or the desire to justify our position to a group of criminals who have illegally entered our country and are demanding the right to stay. When I see people walking in protest carrying the Mexican flag on US soil all I think is "if mexico is so great why dont you go home". Illegals have no rights to demand anything. They also dont deserve the right to go to the head of the line for legalization ahead of those who have went through proper channels to immigrate legally. So I cannot prove anything to someone who is unwilling to accept evidence contrary to their opinon. But my question for you is why should I have to. I am a citizen and I let my elected representatives know how I feel. If they betray me, I will vote against them in the next election and replace them with someone who will properly represent me. That is how it is done here amigo!

Ummm why do you say everyone is for it on forums then make a post trying to convince people to be for it... OBviously not everyone is for it.
Last year there wasnt much activity in the immigration forum here... now its activity has increased by huge amounts. There is a reason.
here is one for you. opinion of politicians and the wealthy ( elites ) versus the average public opinion.
14% of the elite consider immigrantion a critical threat, 45% consider it important but not critical. 41% consider it not important.
60% of the public considers it a critical threat, 31% consider it important, 8% consider it not important.
And this was 5 years ago. The difference of opinion between the elite and the people is only growing in difference.
in 98 they werent as far apart.
http://www.cis.org/articles/2002/1402table1.jpg
in the same study 22% of the elite felt that controlling immigration was important, 70% of the public did.
18% of leaders felt that immigration should be decreased
55% of the public did.
So its pretty much politicians in general and big business owners and executives that are for it or dont mind it.
But the public does not want it. and elections are going to, and have to , change this.

How do you want me to show you actual people that are against it. Watch the news of the thousands of people against this, the thousands upon thousands of phone calls, faxes and petition that have been given to senators. How about you show me actual people that are actual Americans that are with you.

come on, you know there are only about 2000 who actually are against "illegals." it was proven those days where they wanted to go March for what they stand for. most don't really care to do something about it because they are in fact for the reform bill.
