Yeah, if they want to be so picky over brackets and fenders, then maybe they should supply the car and then it'll take time off the inspections process, and if they fail, NASCAR could blame themselves.

They are in this whole thing for the money with this COT. They wouldn't even have their own cars to supply the teams because that would ruin the racing. I mean how techincal can they get with this car? The F1 cars have even more in depth inspections but you don't see officals kicking out the crew chiefs over six races. If nascar wants this car to be the tattle tale car of auto racing then they should put a dang offical inside the race car while they are at it.

I guess they should provide the cars and have a lottery to decide which car each driver gets!
This all sounds like the IROC series to me!!

I think they would like that. Before long they'll end up setting up the cars themselves and the drivers can just draw each week for a different colored car. It's getting extremely ridiculous. The teams have no room for judgement, but then again, that is NASCAR's point I guess; eliminate the variable.

As far as IROC nice analogy.
Personally NASCAR should build the engines and give them to the teams when they get to the track.this would cut out 1 of the " cheating" allegations.Simular to what the "ASA" did.

I was just thinking they should supply the fenders, hoods, tail ends, ect. Maybe the should supply the entire body and let the teams put in their own engine package.
