Interestingly enough as a kid this is how my religious preference started out, although a pure knowledge of God was there, only after time did I start reading religious texts and placed God as the God of Jesus Christ in the Bible, simply because no other Sacred text has the same sense of truth in it, and with all the hidden codes and meanings such as the zodiac symbols (Fish, Bread, Ram) and the Numerical codes I now know that there is a specific God who created the world, I mean have people ever paid attention to the golden proportion?(1.618)

For a mutually as I became a Fundi once I mutually as I wasn't specific that they've been Christians when you consider that they created a clean gospel and that i switched over returned to Catholicism after being in touch with a number of neo-pagan, occult and new age communities. once you belong to a created faith it turns into meaningless after a mutually as when you consider which you already realize it includes "fact" that develop into made up with the help of a few one else. basically about all those communities have been made up with the help of a few physique. you additionally could make your very own stuff up and persist with that. the main expensive fact comes from out edge your self from the author of life. once you come across which you're set. until then you definately are basically enjoying video games with your very own head.

St. Paul, of course, maintains that God's existence is obvious from looking at nature (Romans 1:20. N.B. God, not Jesus )
I never found that verse convincing but, when a Christian, took it on trust that he was right and I was missing the obvious.
No, it's not obvious, looking at the whole of nature.

Looking at the natural world would tend to lead one to join an American Indian tribe, I would think.

A good honest look at nature is a good reason to reject Christianity for what it is. Illogical and completely unnecessary.

Nature's more of a reason to 'convert' to science than religion, if you ask me.

I knew an atheists...He looked at a palm tree in the wind and instantly knew that Jesus died for our sins...
Joking!
You're right..."If you were taught that elves caused rain, everytime it rained you would see proof of elves."
