should i call back 2 ask why they havent called for an interview. some of my friends say thats how thy got their jobs by calling the store back.

Yes, you should call them all back, but in a positive way. Instead of asking why they haven't called you for an interview, reiterate how interested that you are in the position and that you wanted to check on the upcoming status of possibly interviewing with their company. This shows them that you are very interested in their position and are responsible enough to call back to follow up on interviewing with them.

Another key point to remember is to send a thank you letter after an interview. This shows the employer your appreciation for their time in the interview, again your interest in the position, your level of maturity and that you are a responsible person.

You have to show them you mean business.
You run a risk, they might say 'quit bugging us" or, they might ask, when can you come in to talk to them.
You might make 200 calls a week, but it only takes one.....
