I'm not from there...but neither am I use to seeing that many damn homless folks walking the town!It's ridiculous.One night,I'd seen several,maybe 10-15bums, camping out under a highway bridge! I know that all states has it's good and it's bad...but c'mon.
And to make matters worse Dallas trashy as hell....and there alot of ran down buildings.The landscaping is horrible too!
Who could I go to about this issue and the environmental problems???
Dallas is ugly as shiiiiiii..................

You must have been in a bad part of town - I have been all over the world - and Dallas for a major metropolitan area does not have that many bums - have you ever been to a big city before? Cities that size will have homeless - compared to other countires it is a tiny amount - compared to other cities of the same size it is porbably on the smaller side. I think this is due to the extreme heat in the summer, but because it does not get that cold in the winter - the homeless can survive out here.
As to the trash - it does not seem that bad to me. It is not pristine by far, but it is not the trash dump that say New York City is.
If you want to see a paradox of the beutiful city with little trash but tons of homeless - you should see San Franciso.

Almost every major city has a population of homeless people. Even in Cleveland, where I'm near, we have homeless and I don't know how they get through the winters! But they're in NY, Chicago, Miami.....almost every city has it's run down areas with abadoned building too. The issue of the homeless isn't so much an environmental problem, but a problem with humanity. We shouldn't have ANY homeless people in America....especially when we'll doling out aid to other countries. When I talk to people who have never been to the States, they're surprised to learn about homeless people. They think we all live like the people in Hollywood.

You were probably near Dallas/Love Field Airport, Oak Cliff, Pleasant Grove, Forest Lane/Audelia...or some other equally trashy side of town...have you ever considered the fact that maybe, just MAYBE, the other 75% of town looks decent? Like Addison area, let's say...or Plano (West Plano, that is...), or Dallas north of 635 near Richardson? I come from a poor area (not in the DFW area) and I've got to say, Dallas is one of the most beautiful cities in this country! God Bless Dallas, Texas!

You must have been in the bad part of Dallas. Every town has a bad part! Just travel 30 miles south to Waxahachie, and you'll forget all about trashy Dallas!

This whole nation is full of trash!!
It's because people don't care, and are selfish, living
in their own little perfect worlds
The churches of this nation are susposed to house the homeless...but...
they are spending all the money on the big fine churches, instead of helping the people.
And our cities waste tax money on unimportant things.
I've seen our city crew sit around all day doing nothing!
They should be picking up trash, and tearing down abandoned buildings...
To sum it all up...people just don't care.
there's pretty much nothing you can do to change it...
unless you can change the way our cities waste tax payers money, and the way the Churches don't take care of the people in need as Jesus instructed them to do!!

why do you refer to homeless people as bums....how do you know they are homeless because they are just bums...circumstances puts a lot of people in the streets and they have no other alternative....and yes some are there just cause they are bums.
I think Dallas has good and bad points just like any other city...I prefer to go farther afield though like in Waco and that direction

I know Dallas has more strip clubs than anywhere! EW! The hooters there is the biggest in the world! lol
