Officer pulled me over for an illegal U-turn.

My attitude was not too friendly, bad day for me. He asked me for my license. He looked at my license, asked a couple of questions, long silence, then went back to his car to write the ticket. I was silent throughout, not making much eye contact either, and not flirting/asking for forgiveness as I normally do (maybe a little rude?).

After I signed the ticket, I finally made eye contact and asked him how much the fine was, guess that made me more approachable because weirdest thing, He kept staring at me, then asked me questions and making comments (how long I've had it, how my car and me are the same age, how to go online for traffic school) and complimenting me (such a very good driving record, etc), like starting a conversation, maybe even hitting on me?

I wanted to call him at the police station to void the ticket. Will that work? Or should I go to the court date and pray he doesn't show up for something so trivial

Why don't you quit breaking traffic laws and check out traffic school.

You really want to open this can of worms. Call him to void the ticket? Do you realize he could lose his job for that. Are you prepared to offer him what might be required for him to take that risk?

Do the traffic school.

Why should YOU as a woman get out of a
speeding ticket when the majority of men don't?

In any case, once the ticket is in the system, it is
very difficult for someone at the front line level
to make it go away without attracting suspicion.
Indeed, if somebody gets caught voiding tickets
to get a date, they probably would lose their job.

If you really are interested in him, then pay the
ticket - and THEN look him up when there is no
possibility of conflict of interest.
So ... I'll bet you're only interested in voiding the
ticket - probably not paying the guys salary until
he gets another, right?

Part of feminism comes responsibility. Grow up.

The officer has no authority to void the ticket; he can throw it away and not send the court there copy for docket and that would be pretty stupid and dishonest.

Go to court, he may not show.
