I hate it and always cant wait for fall. I just find it to be too hot. too humid. Subway on the platforms is like 100 degress, people are sweating and smell. People are mad, Guys hitting on and starring at every girl that shows cleavage. Have to wear a jacket on subway cause i dont want guys starring at me even though its 90 degrees..
its gross.

The worst. Heat and Humidity. The worst are all the tourists blocking the sidewalks. I am usually running around trying to get to meetings and there are always a groups standing IN THE MIDDLE of the sidewalk gawking blocking traffic.
Why can't they just stand by the edge of the buildings.

Love the city, hate the summers. Too hot and humid plus sun beats down on you and rises up from the sidewalks.
And it is still in the high 80's even at midnight!!!!

Totally hate summers in the city. The only nice part is having people over for dinner/drinks on the terrace. Otherwise it blows. Can't wait for Fall!

I actually like the summer here in NYC, but it depends on where you're at. I completely agree with you about the train stations and the guys acting stupid. I usually take walks to the park or I like to hang out upstate rather than in the city.

summer in nyc is disgusting, especially the tourists spots. people are evrywhere and its is crowded. the sun is providing enough heat not to mention peoples' body heat. laughs
i spend my summers going to coney island and swimming. avoiding tourists areas as much as possible.
