why are people so nasty?

even on the internet you get people who are really nasty to you and you dont even know them

sorry i should say why are some ppl nasty when you haven't done anything

people are strange, some are just plain nasty at all times. While others are sympathetic to others peoples needs, it a shame we can't all be sympathetic. Unfortunately that's the way people are, try to ignore the nasty ones, it's hard, But try.

Sometimes it is easier to be nastier to people who you don't know, this I believe, is because they can't see the hurt they are causing, in a sense they are cowards. On the other hand, these people might have been brought up with nastiness all the childhood lives and don't know any better.

Hopefully, I hope I come across as a caring sensitive people, if not I hope people will inform me if I have caused them any distress by my answers.

Around here - it's mostly boredom, idiocy, and drunken 15 year olds who think they are being funny!

The internet lets them hide behind the mask of anonymity - all they are is a name and a face (even if it's the default "grey guy"). It is nearly impossible to tie anything they say back to them directly, so they feel that they have the ability - and thus the RIGHT - to say whatever they want to.

In real life, they are probably afraid to say two words to ANYBODY for fear of getting their asses kicked - so they logon and start spouting hatred to make themselves feel "powerful" and "important" instead.

It's quite pathetic, when you really think about it ;)

They just put a bunch of letters together to make words that all,they sit day and night practising and to them they hope they get it perfect that's all they have in life,their so lost in this world yes I agree its very pathetic,ignore them although they cant go away eventually you learn to laugh at them,or simply don't even read what they have to say.

theres a lot of people here, that needs a lot of limelight.
so they are here constantly finding targets, so that they can get even more limelight, and try and make you either feel like chucking this in, then they rule in their own little silly cliques, so they really showing what they really are.
ignore them ansie, and you will be fine.
i usually chuck em, a bone to play with. he he.
and the whole worlds watching them for what they are.

On the internet there is a much smaller chance of physical violence. So people feel more secure in being mean.
