I think you answered your own question. Start with your general physician and get his opinion. He/she will probably run a few tests to check for chemical imbalances and/or refer you to a therapist or psychologist. Something is wrong, now let's get busy finding out what it is and get you back up to 100 per cent. "Life's too short to muse ones miseries. Hurry across the lowlands so you can spend more time on the mountaintop."

Your crying is telling that there is something wrong in your life that is upsetting you. Sometimes you may find that a sound or a sent, or just an image can bring on the tears. It sounds like you might be afraid of something, either being alone or something that you know of in your near furture that is going to change something in your life. While you may feel that things are ok, there is a triger in your brain that is screaming for help. Have you had any major events in your life? I noticed that you posted a few days ago about a boy in your church that you think may like you - and you have a boyfriend. The emotions that your feeling might be your way of trying to deal with keeping those relationships seperate = meaning you keep the boyfriend and your feeling for him, but your struggling with the feelings that are being surficed from this ohter boy.

There are many reasons people just begin too cry, for reasons unknow. As a baby we are tought to cry as a way of communicating. When a baby’s cries are comforted by being picked-up, rocked in arms, carried, or fed, then the solution is clear — human attention is exactly what baby needs — that’s how baby is designed, and for viable reasons. Infants are purposely fashioned to be irresistibly adorable, in order to obtain the social interaction and physical contact they require. When we respond regularly to baby’s cries, eventually the two become attuned, with much simpler cues generally replacing the need for crying.

Do you think there is a need in your life that is not being fulfilled and thus... you cry???

Do you think there's an underlying problem like a lot of stress or something you've been worried about lately? And do you feel happy and all of a sudden start crying or do you feel really sad for no reason and that's what's making it happen? Either way, you should definitely talk to a professional about it so that you can get down to the root of the problem and be able to get back a happier life. Good luck hun!

Too much stress, conflicts in your life, grief, depression, all those wonderful (??) female hormones, pregnancy, or some physical problem in your body can all be culprits for surprise or unwanted tears. You don't know what hit you, but here the tears come and they don't want to stop very easily either.

I would suggest you see either your family Dr. or a counselor
to talk with a person who can help you sort it out. Chances are, they can help you to solve the puzzle and move on.

people don't just cry for no reason, but maybe you are crying at times that may not seem to have any cause

I too cry at the oddest times, I know that this is happening because I am unwilling to deal with the grief I am feeling over recent events, I know once I deal with my bottled up feelings the crying will stop, I just am not ready to open the pandora's box yet and deal with the stages of death

good luck, look deep inside and find your issue you are pushing down instead of dealing with

Maybe "nothing" is wrong. I felt this way... I'm a very stressed person, and it seemed to take over my life, after the birth of my daughter. I started taking (prescription) Lexapro (a new antidepressant) and i started feeling better. I don't get all choked up all the time. Talk to your doctor... even at your yearly woman's exam... maybe you just need a little help for a while...

Crying in itself is not 'bad'. Crying helps our bodied to release toxins, it helps clean out our liver, and it is a way of physically reacting to hormones and chemicals our body produces.
You are most likely ignoring some area of your life that needs attention, being prodded by your intuition re-examine something you thought you came to terms with, or about to remember something.

Start taking notes about them. Buy a mini notebook and keep it in your purse. Write down the date, time, and what you did that day. Also, how you were feeling.
You may find that it has something to do with your menstrual cycle, you might consider noting events related to that as well.

If you can't figure anything out and things don't clear up, this log will help a doctor determine how to help you.
Good luck!

Are you stressed? Our bodies do crazy things when we are over stressed. The only other explaination is are you pregnant? Anytime I ever had crying all the time for no reason I was either pregnant or stressed to the max.
