No, it will justify it! Can you just imagine how pious and unbearable all the religious types would be if it were proven?

He's obviously not very certain about doing it otherwise he would've bet more than £100.

But if it was, it'd be too late to come to know God through faith. And that being the only way to be accepted into heaven might cause a wee problem for some whose busy lives have got in the way of seeking the truth...

Heh heh, even at 10 000/1, the bookmaker's money is safe. I cannot believe that someone wasted 100 quid on this bet.

Surely it would not make religion redundant as most religions believe in life after death.
I guess the problem will arise that if it can be proved, then will it tell us which, if any religion is correct,or are we simply different vibrations living in the same space on different levels?
PS. was just going to ask the same question myself!!!!

We will have to wait and see - but interesting hey? It would be nice if he does provide proof of the Afterlife! I would like to look forward to something rather than the nothingness I believe is waiting for me!

It will never be proved, God only gives these gifts of the spirit to certain people.
And he gives the gifts of healing, to certain people as well. There are lots of gifts from the spirit and only God hands them out.
And I very much doubt, if James Randi will ever get one.

That doesn't prove that there are dead humans walking around. That just proves me are not alone in the Universe.
Anyone who believes in God knows we are not alone.
There is these spirit persons, called angels that are invisible.
bible text:
"God is a spirit and those worshipping him must worship in spirit and truth"
He made like these angels? They are spirit persons also.
You can't see them either.

No for the simple fact that people need something to believe in they need a reason to get up and go to church they need a reason to carry around a Bible...like everything else that humans do we need religion to justify our actions

If the bookmaker croaked, whispering, "Arrghh! It's true!" with his dying breath, would his firm or his heirs have to pay up?
