She told her aunt, and her aunt told the parents.
They convinced the parents that an angel had come and told her she was pregnant, and the child would be holy.

St. Joachim & St. Anne were Mary's parents.
Did u know which Gospel is the First Book in the NT? It's Matthew ... which gives the genealogy of Jesus.
We know about the Holy Family of Joseph, Mary and Jesus. It is easy for us to thing about Jesus having a mother and father just like we do ... but did you ever think of Jesus' grandparents?
The gospels don't tell us anything about Mary as a little girl, nor do they tell us anything about her parents. But becase Mary's role in the hist. of our salvation was so special and wonderful, we know that her parents were special too.
We know how God chose Mary to be the Mother of Jesus. We believe that Mary was born without sin, which means she never committed sin the way we do. So Mary, like Jesus, must have had parents who were faithful Jews, holy, prayerful, and who loved their special daughter very much.
Jesus must have loved his grandparents too. Imagine him as a small child visiting Joachim & Anne. Maybe he sat at their table listening to family stories. The Jewish feast of Hanukkah takes place at the same time of the year as our celebration of Christmas. Jewish families celebrate Hanukkah for 8 days, praying together, eating together, and exchanging gifts. During the solemn holy days of the Jewis year, Jesus and his family visited their synagogue and even the temple in Jerusalem (remember when Joseph & Mary lost Jesus only to find him in the temple???).
------ ----- ------
Acceptance of the unplanned baby Jesus ... I think the movie, "The Nativity" did an awsome job of covering the issues Jesus' grandparents might have felt ... but it also shows that "Marriage" is the overpowering force since " ... it is for these reasons that man will leave his home and cling to his bride ..." ---> So this is why the Gospel tells of Joseph seeing the angel Gabriel too.

Of course Mary has parents. How else did she get a Belly-Button? Most likely, due to the average life expectancy of living back then, and the lack of good public transportation and Public Health Care, and very few physicians with training, and almost no medications to speak of, her parents passed away long before she was selected to give birth to Christ.
If she still had parents, the bible would be full of stories of how they settled their domestic fights over her wanting to visit them, and him wanting to go fishing, and touring the country on donkey-back!

Of course she had parents. Mary was a regular person she was not divine or anything like that.
I don't know how she explained it to her parents or anyone else. The fact that her parents are excluded from the story is a hint that either they were dead or did not want anything to do with the matter.

Yes, Mary did have parents. The Bible is pretty silent on how people other than Joseph and her cousin Elizabeth reacted to her pregnancy, so we can only guess.
I personally wouldn't be surprised if her parents were disbelieving and mad as hell (pardon the expression) but decided it wasn't worth a fight once Joseph said that he would still marry Mary. At that point, Mary wasn't really their "problem" anymore. Kinda sad, but I can imagine it that way.

We don't know what her parents thought, since it isn't documented in the Bible. In all likelihood, they were never told prior to her marriage to Joseph. Once he had the dream, he agreed to accept the child as his own -- so there was no need to say anything to anyone.

since she had a home I'm pretty sure her parents (or atleast close siblings) were alive. we know she had a cousin (Elizabeth) who took it well.
her family was probably accepting (not believing, but not gunna stone her) of her, as they would've noticed, and she did stay with them for three months when she was pregnant, so...

It doesn't really talk about her parents.
However, Joseph didn't believe her at first until God came to him.
They wanted to kill her and the baby and she had to be hid.
