i have made the appointment for my cat to get her first booster it is in 2 weeks. anyways my question is .. is there anything i should look for in her behaviour afterwards? beforehands? any information i should have available for the vet? this will be the first cat that I have personally taken to the vet for needles. help would be great. oh and one more q. while the vet is examining what will he be checking for. oh sorry one more. lol. when he trims my cats claws how much will he trim?

My vet always checks my cat's body temperature, the teeth, feels his ribs, and takes his heartbeat. Some cats experience drowsiness after having shots (one of my cats does and the other doesn't). The vet said it just depends on the cat. This shouldn't last more than 24 hours (if it does call your vet). The vet should know where to trim your cat's nails to, if you look at their nails you will see a pink line called the quick. The quick should never be cut into.

you should first see if you can get him vaccinated soooner before he gets something.
A vaccine may make the cat a little lethargic but shouldn't be more than a day. and maybe a little soar at teh site at the vacine.
there is always a slight chance of an allergic reaction.
A vet will ussually check teh eyes,ears, heart, lungs,mouth.
They should do a stool sample i suggest you bring a little stool with you or they will need to go in for a sample themselves ( more stressful for the kittie)

a vet knows how far 2 trim and all my cats had there injection they where just the same only thing i got told it might make them sleepy

The vet you take him to will answer all your questions. Bring any paperwork that came with the kitten.
