I am not blessed with genetics that allow me to eat whatever and not gain a pound! An elliptical machine is a very good way to burn more calories in a short amount of time. Any boxing type workout will do wonders also as they stress aerobics and strength training. Running is good also but tends to be hard on the knees.

Try walking. Once you do that for a while, start jogging, then running.
