The term router has various meanings depending on what area of communications. But since you mention data, perhaps you mean an IP router. if your HF data stream is not IP protocol, it won't get distributed by an IP router. A video router will handle analog signals from about 30 Hz to 6 MHz, but digital waveforms will be deteriorated above 1 MHz in the typeical video router. 1 MHz is adequate for audio and the control signals needed in a typical television plant but not intended for highspeed data networking.
